  • Green's Farms Church is a Congregational church,  affiliated with the United Church of Christ (UCC), a mainline Protestant denomination. With roots tracing back to colonial times, our vibrant and intergenerational congregation continues to thrive today.

  • Our Sunday service starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs for sixty minutes, featuring musical worship, prayer, scripture, and a sermon.

  • What makes you feel good? At GFC, some dress "for church" while others dress for whatever is next on the family calendar. We think getting kids to church is more important than struggling over clothing – and they’re sure to love our Pajama Days!

  • Be sure to join us in the Fellowship Hall after the 10:00 a.m. service for coffee, snacks, and friendly conversation. It's a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow worshippers and learn more about our church community.

  • We embrace children of all ages, providing a nurturing environment for their spiritual growth and exploration.  More details in the Plan Your Visit page.

  • At Green’s Farms Church we are  committed to being the heart, hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors. This commitment is reflected in our longstanding partnerships with over 15 local organizations, who have been serving the greater Westport community for decades. These organizations address critical issues like homelessness, food insecurity, treatment for addiction, domestic violence, and addressing educational disparities.

In addition to supporting these organizations with financial and material donations, we actively participate in service projects throughout the year. One highlight of our commitment to service is "Service Sunday" held every September. On this special day, we mobilize our congregation to work hand-in-hand with our community partners in Norwalk, Westport, and Bridgeport. GFC has an emergency fund for rapid response to natural disasters and our dedicated Bryant Fund supports our mission partners’ capital campaigns.

  • We are committed to accommodating individuals with special needs and have an accessible entrance to the church by the administrative offices as well as an accessible ramp off the Meetinghouse. If you have any concerns or require assistance, please reach out to us, and we'll gladly provide support.

  • GFC offers membership classes throughout the year where you can learn more about formally joining our faith community. If you're interested in becoming a member, reach out to Rev. Jeff Rider or fill out the "Become a Member" form below. We welcome new members at special services throughout the year and look forward to getting to know you better!

  • At Green’s Farms Church, we baptize infants, youth and adults and baptisms are a joyous occasion within our community! We celebrate baptisms during our Sunday services. It's a beautiful moment where we welcome new members into the family of faith, surrounded by the love and support of our congregation. For more information, please fill out the "Baptism Request" form below.
